Porizkova advocates for financial intelligence in women and uses social media to advise them to have a prenup before marriage.

The Blast reported that this was inspired by the supermodel's experience when she found that her late ex-husband Ric Ocasek excluded her and their sons, Jonathan and Oliver, from his will.

The actress told host Andrew Goldmans that "The Cars" singer's reported $5 million net worth was "bulls**t" and used to evade taxes and hide a hefty sum from her.

While appearing on "The Originals" podcast, Porizkova explained that she made sure to get her dues and reached a satisfactory settlement with Ocasek's estate after a tedious legal battle. The mother-of-two said,

"I am gonna be fine. They were very fair. They gave me what is mine under New York state law, and we’re done."
