Camila Cabello Shows Off "Braiding Sweetgrass" Inspired Neck Art

On November 7, Cabello took to Instagram to share a photo of her newest tattoo, small sweetgrass located at the nape of her neck.

The "Señorita" singer wrote that her body art was inspired by "Braiding Sweetgrass," a 2013 nonfiction book by the American botanist Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer.

Cabello added that Kimmerer's book changed her life. "After I read it, I knew I'd never look at the earth and all of [its] inhabitants the same," she wrote.

The 24-year-old explained that "Braiding Sweetgrass" taught her about reciprocity as well as Mother Nature's gift and wisdom.

"When we heal the Earth, we heal ourselves," Cabello wrote, crediting Navasard for her body art drawn from the Greek word "Oikos," meaning home.
