The "Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills" is an instance of the reality television genre that depicts unscripted real-life situations, often starring people who are not professional actors.
The show comes with a host of shocking events and unexpected reveals that thrills the fans and viewers at home.
Recently, RHOBH cast member Dorit Kemsley was on the receiving end of reality in a certainly traumatic way. Intruders entered her home and carted away her prized possessions after pointing a gun at her and her kids.
The event stirred many reactions from friends, family, and colleagues as they tried to support her since the incident. Among the list; was Andy Cohen, an executive producer on RHOBH, who has proven to be sympathetic to his star's ordeal.
The Watch What Happens Live host recently remarked publicly on Kemsley's response to her home invasion. Find out more below.
How Andy Cohen Reacted
During a chat with the hosts of the daily show "The View," Cohen was filled with praise for Kemsley, applauding how the reality star handled the disturbing event.
"By all accounts, she handled this like a pro," Cohen said. "She dealt with it in the way that you would read about, and you would want to deal with it — she made sure her kids were OK."
The panel on the show quizzed further to get more info, but the "WWHL" host rebuffed their efforts and didn't divulge any extra insider details. "It is not really my story to tell but I'm so impressed by what I'm hearing about how she dealt with it," Cohen added.
"And it just makes you take stock when you hear something like this. I'm so grateful she and her family are OK." Cohen's show of support seemed to have proved to many that he is not just about the money but truly cares about the lives of the stars of "RHOBH."
How The Invasion Happened
Life comes with unexpected twists and turns that could suddenly throw one of their strides. For the RHOBH star, she had to face a traumatic robbery experience alone at night in her multi-million-dollar house with her kids.
Last week, three heavily armed men broke into her house, accosted her in the bedroom, and threatened her while they looted her belongings. Kemsley anxiously begged for her life as she gave up expensive purses, jewelry, phones, and a significant amount of cash.
The suspects took the stolen items and fled the crime scene in a black truck parked outside. Since then, a flurry of activities has happened. The police started their investigation into the incident - but it might take some time before some results are gotten.
As for Kemsley, she went off the radar for some days to heal from the robbery. She only recently came out to opine about the invasion.
Kemsley Comes Out To Talk About The Robbery
After keeping mute about the incident for a short while, Kemsley calmed worried RHOBH viewers by giving them an update via her social media account.
"My family now needs to start the healing process," the reality star posted on Instagram. "I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible."

"With the love and support of my husband, my incredible family, friends, fans, and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do whilst I independently work through the trauma."
The business mogul thanked fans for their concerns and well wishes since the news broke out on social media. Currently, she has beefed up the level of security at her home and might be thinking of relocating her family in a bid to salve the trauma.
Will Kemsley Continue Filming' RHOBH?'
Although Kemsley has publicly stated that she has gone back to work, it is yet to be confirmed; if she would be moving forward with the current production schedule of the reality show slated to start in a few days.
It is safe to assume that the reality star might need some extra time to readjust herself and get in the swing of things which might affect the already laid down itinerary for this season.
Kemsley first joined the RHOBH cast five years ago after leaving her previous city for Los Angeles in 2015. The Connecticut native has her business Dorit International, owners of swimwear line Beverly Beach and bridal collection Nektar.
As the name implies, Kemsley's brand focuses on providing consumers with vogue and high-quality bathing suits and wedding dresses. In 2019, she diversified into athletic wear and other accessories to feed the request of burgeoning customers.
