On November 2, Henry Ruggs of the Las Vegas Raiders, was involved in a fatal car crash in Vegas, which took the life of a 23-year-old woman, and her dog,

At the time, Ruggs’ blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, and was driving at a shocking 156MPH. This occurred at Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway, as Ruggs’ vehicle was identified as a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Ruggs ended up being released by the Raiders, as his NFL career appeared to almost certainly be over. At the time of the crash, Ruggs was also with his girlfriend, Kiara Washington. Ruggs ended up being treated at a local hospital, as he showed signs of impairment. He was also spotted sitting on a sidewalk, with Washington, shortly after the crash.

Charges Continue To Mount, Against Ruggs

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the amount of felonies that have been place against Ruggs, is four, with five charges being on the table, in total. Court documents state that Ruggs is facing the charges of DUI resulting in death, DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm, and two reckless driving charges.

In addition to the four felonies, the misdemeanor charge that was filed, is possessing a gun under the influence of alcohol. If convicted on every charge, the former NFL wide receiver could be serving a 46-year prison sentence. Ruggs’ last court appearance came on Wednesday, as he was seen in a wheelchair, and neck brace. He will be attending another hearing, next week.

Victim Was Revealed As Tina Tintor

The woman who tragically lost her life has also been identified as Tina Tintor. She was a native of the Las Vegas area, as she attended Durango High School. She was also a local Target employee, per TMZ. That Target’s store director, Travis Winston, ended up releasing a statement to the outlet, speaking on the loss of Tintor.
