Harry Styles is all an around renaissance man as a performer. Not only does he command massive crowds to come see his shows just for the singing part. He actually has a knack for interacting with fans in different ways. Recently he tried his hand at being a couple’s counselor in one of his concerts. When Harry Styles saw the sign that McKinley McConnell, his fan, was holding up Harry must have been a bit confused. How was he going to help her come out to her mother when the mom probably already saw the sign? Was this a staged coming out? It turns out though that McConnell’s mother had essentially decided to join her for the concert a bit last minute. She bought a ticket in another section that wasn’t necessarily close to her daughter. When Harry became aware of the situation he sprung into action to make this happen for her.

Harry Styles’ initial plan was to literally hand over the mic to McKinley and let her literally tell her mother the news. However, she kind of got cold feet remarking that there was a lot of people present. Harry acknowledged this by saying, “There is a lot of people,” He then  proceeded to asked “Did you not know?” Since he had to keep the ball rolling with the show Styles did the next best thing. Which, was literally to walk over to the mother and literally tell her, “Lisa, she’s gay”. The crowd started cheering, and the lady covered her hands with her face. We’d later find out her emotions got the better of her as she broke down crying while blowing kisses at her daughter.

What should’ve been a fully triumphant moment for McKinley McConnell has turned a bit sour in the hours after everything took place. When she posted the video of what went down to social media a ton of people descended on her accounts. Not all of those people had the best intentions in mind.
