Zayn Malik And Yolanda Hadid's Scuffle Sparked By Boundary Issues

More details are emerging in the Zayn Malik and Yolanda Hadid saga.
According to close family sources who spoke to TMZ, the root of the tension between the duo was boundary issues from Yolanda's end.
The insider revealed that on the day of the altercation that resulted in the singer getting charged, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" had stormed into Gigi's house where Malik was staying.
The "One Direction" alum was reportedly spending time there to be closer to his daughter Khai and was displeased when Yolanda barged into the home without any form of prior notice. The singer made his distaste known but sources say Yolanda paid him no attention.
The 57-year-old was reportedly in the habit of acting like Gigi's house was hers and not respecting Malik's position as her granddaughter's father and daughter's boyfriend. Also, there were issues with Yolanda posting baby Khai's photos which was a no-no for Malik.
Zayn Malik Charged On Four Counts
As The Blast previously covered, late last month, the "PILLOWTALK" crooner was charged with four counts of harassment towards Yolanda and Gigi and got a plea deal.
Court documents showed that Yolanda and Malik got into an intense argument at Gigi's Pennsylvania home while she was away in Paris. During the altercation, the British singer allegedly pushed the grandmother into a dresser. However, he denied any physical contact.
The 28-year-old called the reality star several names and warned her to stay away from his daughter. He also exchanged some words with Gigi over the phone, asking her to defend him against her mother.
Although Malik pled no contest, court documents reveal that he actually pled guilty to one count. Following his charges, the singer was given 360 days of probation for all counts and asked to pay a fine.
Malik was also ordered to stay away from Yolanda and ordered to undergo anger management classes and domestic violence courses.
Zayn And Gigi Still Plan To Co-Parent
Amid the scandal between Malik and the Yolanda family, he and Gigi remain focused on their 1-year-old daughter, and she is their utmost priority.
Per reports, the supermodel has no intention of keeping Malik away from Khai and stripping them of having a good relationship. Instead, the "Love Avent" star has made it clear to her mother that Khai "needs her dad."
She has maintained open communication with Zayn and will reportedly do all she can to make sure they co-parent effectively. However, while they remain amicable co-parents, the pair are no longer romantically involved.
Following the news of Malik's run-in with Yolanda, it was reported that the lovebirds ended things. However, neither of them has publicly confirmed it.
