The second season of "Locke & Key" was released via Netflix on October 22. It revolved around the challenges encountered by the Locke siblings and their dispute against Dodge (played by Layla De Oliveira).
The season largely focused on the Keyhouse and the magic around it but was also very much about the characters growing up.

There was also a lot of romance in this season of the show, which particularly interested viewers. Which of the couples from season two had the most fan attention, and which were an obvious no-no?
Keep scrolling to see our ranking of the "Locke & Key" couples from the worst to the best.
Jackie And Tyler Were A Cute But Tragic Couple
Jackie (played by Genevieve Kang) and Tyler (played by Connor Jessup) gained attention as a cute couple in "Locke & Key" season 2. Fans, however, lost hope in the relationship from the time of Jackie's memory loss and her struggle with the consequences.
Jackie lost the memories she had of Keyhouse and of the magic surrounding it when she reached adulthood. Turning 18 and experiencing the "Riffle Rule" with its negatives and positives was a difficult and confusing experience for her.
While this affected her memories of her time with Tyler and their relationship in general, his insistence that they continued using their magic aggravated her issues and led to her doom, even though he meant well.
Their relationship, unfortunately, ended when Dodge turned Jackie into a demon. While attempting to reverse the magic by using the Alpha key, he mistakenly killed her along with the demon in her. It was very tragic for fans to see their beautiful romance end Jackie's life in such a manner.
Nina And Josh Have Too Many Red Flags
Fans were excited to see Nina Locke (played by Darby Stanchfield) put herself out there in season two after spending a huge part of season one mourning her late husband.
Nina subsequently made friends with Josh (played by Brendan Hines), father of a classmate of her son, Bode (played by Jackson Robert Scott). It wasn't a big surprise when the Josh and Nina fan-ship quickly set sail.

The show revealed a couple of things they both had in common and that they could bond over. For example, they both recently lost their spouses and have similar interests in architecture. If not for the obvious red flags, fans believe that they'd have been a perfect match.
The red flags such as his talking down on her in their first meeting, his obsession with the black door, and his temper, which he showed in his confrontation with a student, have convinced many fans that he would be bad for Nina in the long run and that the two are a big No.
Duncan And Brian Are Sappy Lovebirds
The show kicked off with a beautiful Duncan and Brian moment as they announced their engagement. Their affection for each other was evident in their brief appearances on the season.
The duo, played by Aaron Ashmore and Milton Barnes, touched many hearts and seemed to have had the healthiest relationship on the show.
According to some fans, the reason was probably that their relationship was barely a focus of the show. However, many fans were excited to see the LGBTQ+ representation on the season, even for a brief moment.
Fans have expressed that they would like to focus more on the relationship and see Brian play bigger roles in the show's seasons to come.
Kinsey And Scot, Power Couple Of The Season
There's no doubt that of all the matches, Kinsey (played by Emilia Jones) and Scot (played by Patrice Jones) were the power couple of the show. The chemistry between these two was noted by fans irrespective of Kinsey's relationship with Gabe.
The season focused on their chemistry and how they supported each other in many things throughout the episodes.
Some examples were Kinsey pushing Scot to follow his dream of being a filmmaker and Scot's willingness to support her family in solving their problems.
The future of the two seems quite uncertain, but fans have gone on social media to express that Kinsey deserves to be with a much better person after Gabe's previous betrayal. Some have said that Scot would be a better fit.
