Khloe Kardashian has just tested positive for COVID-19, despite already having the virus and being fully vaccinated.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star tweeted the bad news on Friday, claiming not only has she tested positive for Coronavirus, but her daughter — True — has as well. The reality star took to Twitter to confirm the diagnosis and said she will be canceling any upcoming appearances while the family quarantines.
“Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for Covid. I’ve had to cancel several commitments and I’m sorry I won’t be able to make those happen. Luckily I have been vaccinated so all will be ok. We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines,” she tweeted.
Khloe Kardashian Tests Positive For ‘Break-Through’ Case Of Coronavirus
Interestingly, the situation is what they call a “breakthrough” diagnosis when someone has had COVID or is vaccinated and still gets the virus. Now, it should be noted, Kardashian doesn’t exactly confirm she is suffering from the virus, instead of going for “tests positive.” Remember, many who are in the entertainment business are tested constantly for the virus, so they can be on the set of their television show or movie. It’s possible she just tested positive but isn’t sick with the virus.
Shockingly, this is the second time Khloe has tested positive for the virus. The first time around was terrible, and the situation was chronicled on episodes of the family’s reality show.
In a clip from ‘KUWTK,’ Kardashian describes “vomiting and shaking and hot and then cold,” when the virus first hit. She continued, “I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache; I wouldn’t say it was a migraine, the cough in my chest would burn when I would cough.”
‘KUWTK’ Describes ‘Super Scary’ First Time Around With The Virus
Adding, “Let me tell you that s–t is real but we’re all going to get through this. Pray that if we all follow orders and listen, we’re going to be OK. May God bless us all.” At the time, Khloe appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and claimed the experience was “super scary” as “the whole world was shutting down and we didn’t have really any information or the information we had just changed every single day.”
At the time, Khloe described putting on a mask and gloves, after speculation about the virus was changing daily. The reality star says she was “really diligent” when it came to wearing masks, even though her family didn’t believe she had the virus.
Khloe Kardashian And Daughter, True, Currently In Quarantine
The first time around, Kardashian was quarantined away from her daughter for 16 days. “I don’t care how beautiful the place you have, being taken away from your child for that long, because I couldn’t be around my daughter, that was the most, like, heart-wrenching thing,” she revealed.
Again, it’s unclear if Khloe and True are actually suffering from the virus, or have just tested positive. But, we are guessing this entire thing is getting captured on tape for the family’s new Hulu show!
