The Show's Success Shocked Her

The British actress who was one of the main characters of the show was astonished by its success. The first season was seen by 82 million households around the world, according to Deadline. The show eventually grew in popularity and became one of Netflix's most popular series.

"I thought it was just another project." She ranted, "I didn't believe anyone would notice." "We were all on lockdown at home, pent up, and nothing changed..." Dynevor expressed how the success of the show hit hard. "Fame has been an "out-of-body" experience for me."

Her Anxiety And Mental Health After The Fame

Dynevor was no stranger to stardom before "Bridgerton." She had previously starred on TV Land's "Younger," "Waterloo Road," and "Snatch," among other shows. But it was only after the series made a global impact that she admitted she became frightened of failure.

"Nobody, I believe, knows how to deal with that. Everything makes me nervous. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm afraid of failing, of disappointing someone, of contradicting myself." She also expressed the state of her mental health. "You can see how being in the public glare affects your mental health. I meditate, see a therapist, and go on daily walks. Because things are extremely chaotic right now, there are several things I do to ground myself."

She had further realizations regarding the entertainment industry after she attained fame. "The highs can be incredibly high, but the lows can be really low," she added.
