Currently, the father of three is the oldest active player in the National Football League.

“The game that I played 20 years ago is very different than the game now, in the sense that now it’s more skills competition than it is physical football,” Brady explained. “I think in some ways they’re taking away a physical element to the game . . . The way the rules are being set, I don’t think that it’s always in the best interest of the game that I once played.”

Brady also shared in a previous interview that while he can continue his NFL career "until I'm 50 or 55 if I wanted to," he will most likely retire before reaching that age because of his family.

Family Matters

"My physical body won't be the problem," Brady told Amazon Prime Video's Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm. "I think it'll just be, I'm just missing too much of life with my family."

In a report by People, Brady answered some of the most frequently asked questions about himself and his teammate Rob Gronkowski, 32, last month from the internet.

"Can Tom Brady play 'til 50? Like, 50 years old? … I don't find it so difficult," he stated. "Plus, in Florida, it's kind of a retiree state, so I feel like I can play and then just glide into retirement. I think I can. I think it's a yes."

During his recent podcast on SiriusXM, the seven-time NFL champion talked explained how he makes time for his three children amid his busy career.

Brady also shared that as a football player, he gets a "good healthy off-season" and is able to have "a lot of time off," which he uses to spend time with family. The NFL star shares daughter Vivian Lake, 8, and son Benjamin Rein, 11, with Bündchen, and a son John "Jack" Edward, 14, with ex Bridget Moynahan, 50.

"I try to do my best with the kids," he said. "Although I wish I was there more, but I think if I was there too much, you know, they might be sick and tired of me screwing up everything that's been going on in the house for a long time too."

Praising His Wife

According to Brady, his wife "held down the house for a long time now" while he's been busy with his career.

Brady has been very vocal about his love for his wife. In July, he posted a birthday tribute to Bündchen on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday ??! This has been an incredible year and it’s hard to imagine loving you more today than I did a year ago, but I do! You love our family the way nobody else can and we all celebrate you on this day! Te amo Tanto meu amor da minha vida! ❤️❤️ @gisele," he captioned the share, along with the photo of the former supermodel hugging their daughter.
