'UFC' Star Chuck Liddell & Wife Detail Violent Relationship In Dueling Restraining Orders

Chuck Liddell and his wife, Heidi, are making brutal allegations against each other in dueling restraining orders following a physical altercation that landed him behind bars.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the 'UFC' star and his wife both filed domestic violence restraining orders that detail a relationship filled with violent incidents. In the end, both of them were given protection from each other, and are being forced to live in separate places until the next court hearing.

To start, Chuck filed a declaration detailing the events leading up to his arrest and claims the aggressor in the situation with his wife. Also, he says the couple is currently separated and had been living in separate rooms in their home.

On October 10, 2021, the couple attended a function in their neighborhood with their two children. According to Liddell, after returning home they began verbally arguing and it became physical. "She attacked me by putting her hands on my chest and pushing me," he claimed. He says the argument continued and "she then slapped me in the face with her open hand, dropping her cell phone that was in her hand."

During the argument, Chuck claims Heidi "lost her balance" and ended up sitting on the ground. "I did not push her," he stated.

He continued, "When she caught up to me on the second-floor landing, she jumped in front of me again, put her hands on my chest and pushed me again, and then punched me in the torso with her closed fist four to five times."

In the legal documents, Liddell says his wife often calls him a "loser" and claims she has "always been a agressive person who was emotionally and verbally abusive towards me. She would even push me and hit me when she was angry." Also, he claims he "never once hit" Heidi, and often defused the situation. At this point, Chuck claims he is "completely traumatized" and doesn't want to "live on eggshells in our home" any longer. The fighter also included pictures of his alleged injuries in his legal documents.

As we reported, Chuck claims he took the place of his wife going to jail on the night of the most recent incident -- over fears she would be unsafe in the police department.

Obviously, Heidi has a completely different story -- and outlined a brutal relationship with the UFC star claiming he was physically violent on several occasions. To begin, Heidi described the details of their latest argument on October 10, claiming Liddell was extremely intoxicated during the dispute.

Heidi alleges Chuck arrived to the home and "fell through the back door," and she "could tell he was heavily intoxicated." The couple started arguing, and she claims the 'UFC' star "pushed me with his head and chest trying to get my phone," while trying to call a friend. Mrs. Liddell says that's when he used a "move called a 'double-leg takedown' causing me to fall again on my butt, which I have now discoverd bruised by tailbone."

At this point, she called 911, and police arrived at the home to investigate the incident. She claims he wrongly accused her of hitting him, but he was arrested for domestic battery.

Unfortunely, Heidi claims this isn't the first time she has been the victim of domestic violence. In 2011, Heidi says Chuck assaulted her following a UFC event and "started to strangle me."

"I was terrified that he was going to kill me," she said. In 2015, she says the couple began arguing following a Los Angeles Lakers game, after she confronted him about drinking in excess and "his ongoing drug use." At this point, she claims Chuck "tried to run us off the freeway" and "I had to reach over and grab the sterring wheel to pull us back onto the freeway."

In the end, Heidi says "It truly breaks my heart that the man I love has been broken down to the point where he has spiraled with his alcohol and drugs, but that does not give him liberty to take out his feelings on myself and our children. I want him to recieve help."

As we said, they were both given temporary restraining orders, and are due back in court to argue over ongoing custody and living issues. The couple is also in the middle of an ongoing divorce.
