The brothers have been accused of rigging their professional boxing matches. An MMA legend recently called out the YouTubers for not having “real fights.”
The Paul brothers have been scrutinized and criticized ever since they stepped into the ring, literally.
Despite Jake having a perfect fight record and Logan having a near perfect record despite the draw from his match with Floyd Mayweather, many professional fighters and fans of the sport have questioned the legitimacy of their boxing ring talents.
Jake’s “clean” record has recently come under a microscope with some claiming the results of the fight are decided before gloves are even thrown.

One could compare it to professional wrestling.
UFC legend Alistair Overeem has chimed in and called out the YouTubers.
Overeem recently sat down with Chris Weidman on his ‘Won’t Back Down’ podcast when the topic of possibly fighting one of the Paul brothers came up.
He admitted the brothers are doing “good business” in their matches, but has a strong inkling the fights are orchestrated in their favor.
Overeem told Weidman, “Good for them but they would never, if it becomes threatening or dangerous, they’d never do it,” when talking about the Paul brothers venturing into the MMA world.
“They would never come into MMA. They are doing something that they feel is ‘hey, this kind of feels like the cards are stacked on my side’ but they would never take a risk to really get hurt like we’re doing – a real fight against a real killer. Time and time again they are doing the safe, easy, playing part. It’s not real fights what they’re doing,” he said.
Overeem pointed out the fact that they’re fighting men smaller in size and weight.

“If you’re fighting a guy who is 50 pounds less, and Mayweather is known to win on decision, win on points, that’s different than fighting Frances Ngannou… they’re just filling around and making a nice name. they’re making a buck out of it, congratulations, but other than that it is what it is,” the fighter said.
He noted he doesn’t “stay up” to watch their fights adding, “The YouTubers, it’s also a different generation too.”
Jake’s match against Tyrone Woodley was recently labeled ‘rigged’ by many fans on social media.
One person tweeted, And you straight bsing me and telling me Jake Paul won, Tyron Woolley looked into Jake’s soul at that exact moment #rigged.”

Another tweeted, “I understand why ppl saying rigged.. hella times Tyron Woodley would hit Jake Paul wit a shot and had no follow up it’s almost like he’ll hit him and wait for him to recover like “aye u good??”
