John Mulaney And Olivia Munn Relationship Rumors Are Still SWIRLING!

Over the weekend, an anonymous tip to the gossip account “DeuxMoi” hinted that comedian John Mulaney and actress Olivia Munn had broken up.

The message read, “I’ve heard recently from a fairly reliable source that this B-C list celebrity and her baby daddy A list comedian have recently called it quits. Source is a friend who works in publicity, so make of that what you will, but she heard they’re not attempting to fake the relationship for the public, but won’t be announcing it either.”

In a recent interview on “Late Night With Seth Meyer” in September, Mulaney, 39, claimed that he started dating Munn, 41, in the spring, and announced that he and Munn were expecting their first child together.

“I'm gonna be a dad,” he shared. “I'm... we're both really, really happy.”

Although it’s not clear exactly when the couple started dating, Mulaney officially filed the divorce papers from his wife of six years, artist Anna Marie Tendler, in July. The marriage, which lasted from 2014 to 2021, was plagued by rumors of Mulaney’s infidelity, with a source claiming that “he was DM’ing women on Instagram for hookups” while Tendler headed off to work on a project at the Smithsonian at the start of the pandemic in 2020.

Although a new source did not confirm or deny the break-up rumors, they did hint that Mulaney and Munn’s whirlwind romance might not last.

According to US Weekly, they received a tip from an inside source that “this has been an imperfect relationship from the start.”

“Even though Olivia’s going to be a wonderful mother and has great support behind her, Olivia’s friends just don’t see these two being a couple in a year’s time,” the source said.

They go on to claim that the new parents “are a long way from deciding and locking in what their relationship is going to be going forward.”

They continue, “Olivia and John still have to decide what kind of future they’re going to have together, if any. It’s a time of uncertainty, for both of them.”

Although the source is confident that Mulaney and Munn will “make great parents” it is unclear “if they’re going to do that together or apart.”

Although Munn has yet to announce a due date, many fans are raising eyebrows at the tight timeline Mulaney proposed for his and Munn’s fledgling relationship.

As Mulaney explained, “I went to rehab in September, I got out in October, I moved out of my home from my ex-wife. Then in the spring I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia.”

Those in the industry didn’t seem surprised, as a celebrity agent who has previously worked with Munn stated, “I don’t think it’s any coincidence that John broke the news of Olivia’s pregnancy the way he did in terms of basically giving a timeline of his past few months — when he moved out of his house, how it was the spring when he fell in love with Olivia. It seems to me that he is going to great lengths to dispute the idea that he cheated.”

Although Tendler has yet to publicly comment on the relationship or the pregnancy, Tendler released a statement of her own after divorce rumors broke, saying, “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”
