Jesse McCartney Marries Longtime Girlfriend Katie Peterson In 'Rustic-Chic Ceremony'

Jesse McCartney is officially off the market!

The actor and musician, 34, is now reportedly a married man.

According to People, McCartney tied the knot with longtime girlfriend actress Katie Peterson, 34, on Saturday in a romantic, rustic-chic ceremony held at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California.

Peterson's uncle officiated the floral-filled ceremony, and the couple reportedly wrote their vows themselves. Their beloved dog Bailey also made an appearance, serving as a flower girl.

"I think that moment of settling in at the altar and just watching her come down is going to be pretty special and having our families there and witnessing all of it… It's hard not to be romantic about that portion of the night," McCartney said in an interview.

For the big day, the "Just So You Know" singer had his brother, Timothy McCartney, 24, as his best man.

As per the outlet, the groom wore a Brioni tuxedo with mother-of-pearl cuff links and a cream-colored shirt, while the bride rocked a Galia Lahav couture dress and champagne-colored Jimmy Choo shoes.

"It felt very rustic, and almost like my dress is coming out of the woods as well," Peterson said of her bridal look.

The actress also added a little yet meaningful piece of item to her whole ensemble. She used lace from her mother's wedding veil to hold her Fionna Floral bouquet together.

The outlet revealed that Peterson walked down the aisle filled with white rose petals with a string quartet version of Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" playing in the background. Meanwhile, a string version of the "Jurassic Park" theme song played at the reception.

"I cry watching a Subaru commercial. That kind of sums it up for you," McCartney shared before the nuptials. "So I don't know how I'm going to get through this… I get dewy, as they say."

The pair had a rustic barn-like structure for their outdoor ceremony. The "Girls Gone Dead" star said she was struck by its "magical" quality and that they felt connected to it. She revealed that McCartney had brought her to the venue for her birthday.

"It's breathtaking. It's extremely whimsical and like a fairytale, truly," she gushed. "You're in the middle of the redwoods and these trees are like, 800 years old and they're massive. It's a very special place."

McCartney and Peterson met years ago when the actress was tending bar, and the singer came in to celebrate a friend's birthday after-hours.

"I was sort of trying to sweet-talk her," McCartney recalled. "I found her incredibly attractive and was just trying to charm her, but she wasn't having it. I eventually left my number on a napkin and she said, 'You didn't write your name down on it!' And I was like, 'Oh, of course, she probably got a million of these tonight.' I had to write my name down on the napkin and then eventually the rest is history!"

The couple got engaged in September 2019 after seven years of dating. McCartney shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of him and Peterson kissing with the caption, "Locked it up."
