This show was also given the same name as her previous residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. That residency debuted in 2003 and ran for 16 years, during which Dion performed a total of 427 shows.

Her first residency in Las Vegas was titled "A New Day," and according to Billboard, it lasted five years with 714 shows. Dion also recently announced that her upcoming Courage World Tour would resume from March 9, 2022.

The Unforeseen Medical Emergency That Affected Dion

According to the information released by Dion's management, the singer was suffering from "severe and persistent muscle spasms." The spasms prevented her from attending the rehearsals and performing, and she was eventually forced to rest and seek medical treatment.

This is what led to the indefinite postponement of the concert residency.

It has also been announced that Dion is currently being evaluated and treated by a team of medical experts. However, there are no further details about her health since the postponement was announced. No one knows the medical condition that caused the spasms and when the residency shows might be rescheduled.
