Jessica Simpson is back to working out!
The "Dukes of Hazzard" actress, 41, returned to Instagram and posted a photo of herself standing on a treadmill in her home gym. In the caption, the singer shared that she has been putting off exercising, but has recently found the strength to move her body.
Back To The Grind
"First day back at it and I'm already hurtin' and feelin' real dramatic about being sore," Simpson wrote. "I have been craving this, but procrastinating."
She also said that she's dead set on making the routine part of her daily habit, but of course, with a little reward after.
"One work out and I am determined to not let myself down," she noted. "Although I will be eating a brownie to give myself some points! #beastmode #goMOMSgo"

About Her Body

The "I Wanna Love You Forever" songstress has been very open about her struggles with body image and weight loss throughout the years. Back in April, Simpson even threw out her scale -- instead of worrying about the number of pounds she weighs, she focuses on how she feels instead.
"I have no idea how much I weigh, I just want to be able to feel good and zip my pants up. If I don't, I have another size. I have every size," she shared on Today. "I've really tried my hardest to not let that define me," she added.
In March, Simpson also got candid about how she got over people scrutinizing her body, which she discussed in her bestselling memoir, Open Book. For those who don't know, the singer dealt with body shaming during her "Dukes of Hazzard" days. She even lost 100 pounds where she worked with long-time friend and coach Harley Pasternak, as per the U.S. Sun.
Body Positivity
"There is a wonderful movement for body positivity now and the response to that portion of my story has been overwhelmingly supportive," Simpson told People. "I don't think people always realized that there was a human being, a beating heart and working eyes with actual feelings behind those headlines and that words can hurt and stay with you for a lifetime."
Simpson also has more reason to celebrate now and work on her health as she regained full control of her namesake brand.
In a recent report by The Blast, Simpson and her mom Tina Simpson, 61, have worked hard on regaining complete ownership of the fashion brand, and they have succeeded.
“It means the absolute world to me to be able to take over complete ownership of my brand,” she said to Footwear News. “After 16 years in business, I feel ready to meet this next exciting phase with open arms. I know the sky is the limit when my mom, our incredible team, and I lock into our customers completely.”
