Scott Disick Feels 'Really Sad' About Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker's Engagement

Scott Disick is not taking it very well.

A source revealed that "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, 38, is "beside himself," following the news of Kourtney Kardashian, 42, and Travis Barker's engagement, as per E! News.

The Blink-182 drummer, 45, popped the question on Sunday, October 17, at the Rosewood Miramar hotel in California. The couple was outdoors by the beach, and the musician had a lavish set-up that included large white candles and red roses for the special occasion.

According to a different insider, the Talentless founder "knew it was coming," as the famous family had "mentioned it to him before." Despite his knowledge of what was about to come, it didn't help ease the pain, with the source sharing that Scott is "still really sad about it and is feeling low."

Kourtney and Scott had been together for over 10 years with their on-again, off-again relationship. Together, they have three children, Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6. The exes never married, but it was revealed that the "Flip It Like Disick" star proposed to the Poosh founder years ago.

In a report by The Blast, Scott popped the question to his baby mama in 2017 with a Lorraine Schwartz ring.

"I think I, like, asked her to marry me and…" Scott said in a past "KUWTK" episode. "It was really weird. I don't think we told anybody actually. It was somewhat cute, and then we just got scared about, like, media and this and that. And we were like, 'Let's just put the ring aside, and we'll talk about it another day.' Never spoke about it again."

Kourtney broke up with Scott for good in 2015. At the time, a source explained that the mother of three was upset with Scott's behavior.

"Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids, it has gotten old," the source noted.

Despite the breakup, Scott will always be there for Kourtney whenever she needs him.

"He will always care for Kourtney. She is the mother of his children, and no one else will compare to that," the source said.

However, with Kourtney and Travis' recent engagement, it's hard for Scott to be cordial with his ex and her new lover.

An insider revealed that Scott "can't speak to Kourtney," with the second source saying he's avoiding the newly engaged couple.

"He will always be a part of the Kardashian family, but it is hard for him to be around Kourtney and Travis," said the same source.

Scott had been bitter about Kourtney and Travis' romance from the start, as seen on his DM leaks to one of Kourtney's exes, Younes Bendjima, 28.

The model apparently shared a screenshot of the message, in which Scott allegedly wrote, "Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy," along with a photo of the Kourtney and Travis making out.

"Scott Disick is still very bitter about Kourtney and Travis' relationship. He wants her to be happy, but behind closed doors, he will always have regrets about their relationship and why it didn't work out," said a source close to Scott. "He is bitter because he's never seen Kourtney this serious about someone."
