Ronda Rousey has succeeded as an actress, a professional wrestler, and a retired mixed martial artist. Now, the 34-year-old is focused on being a great mom.
The WWE star recently surprised fans with a precious image of herself breastfeeding her baby girl on Instagram. The athlete also captioned this tender moment with a powerful message for mothers everywhere.
In her post, the “Mile 22” star, who is also a stepmom to her husband, Travis Browne’s three children, explained that the boys had inspired her message.
When the curious children wondered how the UFC Champion would feed their baby sister during their Hawaii vacation, Rousey realized the concept of breastfeeding was foreign to them.

The mother-of-one believed the boys were uncertain about public breastfeeding, which motivated the athlete to express her views on motherhood.
According to the “WWE” star, motherhood was something to be proud of, and no part of it deserved to be hidden.
The 34-year-old confessed that she was in awe of her body’s ability to not only grow a child but also feed her daughter after birth. The athlete concluded her powerful message with the words,
“It’s really nothing to be ashamed of, it’s something to brag about. #normalizebreastfeeding #proudmama”
Welcoming Baby Pō
In September, The Blast reported that Rousey had shared the exciting news of her daughter’s arrival on Instagram. The new mom uploaded two heartwarming photos of the little girl cozying up with her parents.
Although the baby’s face was hidden in the pictures, her adorable little hand was seen resting on her mother’s chest then on her father’s tattooed body in the second image.
“The Expendables 3” star captioned the post with her newborn’s unique name, “La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.” This bundle of joy is the first child of the athlete and her Hawaii sweetheart.
The lovebirds officially became husband and wife in 2017, but their baby preparations didn’t happen until 2019, when Rousey left the “WWE” to focus on building a family with her MMA husband.
The news of the 34-year-old’s four-month pregnancy came in April 2021 via her YouTube channel, followed by a unique Pokemon-themed gender reveal video in June.
Rousey isn’t the only new mom in the wrestling world, as her “WWE” rival Becky Lynch welcomed her first child and daughter last December.
As reported by TMZ, the WWE Superstar advised the athlete not to return to the ring as she wouldn’t be able to handle Lynch, who is currently dominating the sport.
“The Man,” as she is famously known in the rings, relinquished her championship title for maternity leave; however, since her return, the mother-of-one has become a SmackDown champion.
While it is uncertain if the UFC champion will make a WWE comeback, it is safe to say that Rousey is enjoying her time as a mother. On the other hand, her rival is getting ready for this month’s WWE’s Crown Jewel event.
