Chelsea Houska might as well be the unofficial fashion queen of the “Teen Mom” franchise. The popular “Teen Mom 2” face is adored for her edgy vibes, ripped denims, and beanie hats, although it isn’t all jeans and jackets for this famous redhead.
If you aren’t fully up to date on Chelsea, here’s what’s going down. The star is not only an influencer for Lauribelles, but she’s launched a full collab with the affordable clothing brand.
The biggest sign that Chelsea’s fashion game is on-point? Her stuff literally sold out the day it restocked just recently.
Chelsea appeared on Lauribelles’ Instagram this week – not to showcase the hoodie-style cowls she’s selling as part of her collab, but simply to help promote the label.
The photo showed the mom of three professionally photographed and looking downwards as she posed in a flattering and sleeveless leopard-print top. The look was chic, sexy, and 100% glam. Chelsea’s trademark thick lashes were also on show.
A troubled teen she may have been back on “16 and Pregnant,” but this MTV face has come a long way. A caption from Lauribelles didn’t mention Chelsea, but let’s face it, there was no need.
2019 was insanely successful for Chelsea. While last year saw “Teen Mom 2” face Jenelle Evans fired from the show after estranged husband David Eason shot and killed the family dog, it’s been onwards and upwards for Chelsea.
Together with hunky husband Cole DeBoer, Chelsea collaborated with online retailer Itzy Ritzy last year. The couple then joined forces with eyewear brand, DIFF for a collection.
Slightly less popular (but only by a touch) has been Chelsea’s promo for weight loss brand Profile Sanford – fans did question whether Chelsea should be going down that road.
Despite not updating her Instagram all that often, Chelsea is the most-followed member of the “Teen Mom” franchise. She has 5.7 million Instagram followers.
Next down is co-star Kailyn Lowry with 3.8 million followers. Jenelle Evans has 2.9 million followers, while former “Teen Mom OG” star Farrah Abraham has a fanbase that appears to be dropping – the 28-year-old was hovering around the 2.3 million mark in mid-2019, but she now has 2 million followers.
Chelsea’s Instagram showcases her life as a fashionista, but her marriage and three kids are up there, too.
As one does.
Chelsea and Cole are loved for having one of the steadiest relationships on the show. The couple is parents to two children, Watson and Layne, also raising Chelsea’s daughter Aubree (from Houska’s ex, Adam Lind).
Speaking about how she met Cole, Chelsea revealed that it was sheer luck.
“I went home to my friend and I was like, ‘I just saw the guy I’m going to marry at the gas station, but we didn’t talk.’ And a few days later, he contacted me on social media and was like, ‘Hi. I got gas next to you the other day.’ And I was like, ‘Thank you, Jesus.’”
