A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Kanye West is in fact, opening his own K-12 school. This is named Donda Academy, as it is a private, tuition-free, school. It will be located in Simi Valley, CA, and will reportedly be opened before 2021 is over. Kanye has also been able to land some of the top high school basketball prospects in the country, such as Zion Cruz, Jalen Hooks, and Jakhi Howard.
Top Prospect Hasn't Been Heard From, After Being Contacted By Kanye
Donda Academy has been on a roll, when it comes to accumulating talent, in its goal of becoming a high school basketball powerhouse. There is no one huge problem in the way, though. According to a report from Hollywood Unlocked, Kanye recently recruited Robert Dillingham, who is aa 6-foot-1 point guard, and attended Combine Academy In Charlotte, NC. Dillingham is also ranked No. 8 nationally by 247 Sports and is listed as the No. 2 prospect in NC.

Dillingham told his head coach, Jeff McInnis, that he will be at Donda Academy, for his junior year. Dillingham spoke with Ye, ahead of committing to Donda Academy, but his father, Donald, hasn't been able to get in contact with him, since then. Robert's father also claimed that he's been missing classes, since committing to transfer to Donda Academy.
Dillingham's Father Didn't Give Him Permission To Go To Donda Academy
This report also stated that Dillingham's father didn't give his son the green light, to transfer to Donda Academy, either. A trainer, Rico Grier, who is supposedly close to the Dillingham family, allegedly went on to bring Robert to Southern California, to prepare to attend Donda Academy. Donald Dillingham went on to reveal that he found out that his son went to SoCal, through news on TV. Kanye also allegedly asked Robert "Are you coming here or are you going to let it go?," regarding his commitment to Donda Academy. Grier has since denied any involvement in bringing Robert to California, as he reportedly claimed that he "has nothing to do with it." Grier is said to have personally moved there, with his own family.
Police Report Was Filed In North Carolina
Donald Dillingham has since filed a police report in NC, and added that Robert's mother hasn't been responsive, regarding this situation. At this point, he believes that Kanye sent her money, to keep her quiet about Robert coming to Donda Academy. This is all while Mr. Dillingham says he's help set up all of Robert's sporting events, while the mother and brother of Donald, haven't.
Robert's Father Reached Out To Donda Academy Administration
Robert's father is also reported to have attempted to contact an administrator of Donda Academy, as well as Shayla Scott, who is the Director of Athletics & Academics. In an unusual turn of events, Scott told Mr. Dillingham, that she's been "authorized" by someone, to not speak to him. Grier is suspected to be this individual, who told Scott not to speak to him. Robert's father simply wants to be able to speak to his son at this point, and blasted Donda Academy, by asking “What can Donda do for you when they’re not even a real school??”
