Christina Aguilera has suffered a major wardrobe malfunction – on her birthday.

The "Dirrty" singer and reality judge turned 39 yesterday, with a birthday video of the famous blonde enjoying her birthday now proving sufficiently viral in nature for Hollywood Life to be reporting it. Less about the celebrating and more about the wardrobe malfunction, the media outlet was out to remind the world that Xtina's birthday bash didn't go quite as planned.

On the plus side, Christina handled the situation like a total boss, even recreating it for fun.

Because Wardrobe Malfunctions Are Something To Celebrate

The video showed Christina at her 39th bash and wearing a dangerously low-cut red dress with pasties. Of course, things didn't go quite to plan, with Aguilera's dress falling right down in a rather compromising way.

Christina's exposing moment was no bother for her, though. Xtina pulled the dress right back down to give fans a sneak peak at her sexy nipple accessory. The moment wasn't mentioned in the caption, though.

"Entering the last year of my 30s with the best vibes...dancing, singing, salsa-ing. What a night. SO thankful for everyone in my life who’s been on this journey with me. Who has stuck by me through and through. “She came, she conquered. Get ready 2020” 🎉🎉🎉🎉 lezgetitttt," Christina wrote.

It's Like Instagram Didn't Even Notice It

Comments to the video have been pouring in, but it doesn't look like Christina's fans were all too fazed by the moment. In fact, they barely seemed to notice it.

"GET READY 2020 OH MY GOD," one fan wrote.

"Happy birthday my GodTina," another user said.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM" was another comment.

The video itself has managed to rack up over 111,000 views since going live yesterday. It formed part of a series of videos as the singer turned 39, with the party even hosting Demi Lovato.

Not The First Wardrobe Malfunction From Christina

Christina is no stranger to a dress that didn't fit quite right. "The Voice" judge suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction back in October: the singer was belting out a number at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada when her dress once again fell down. The nipple pasties were there, though – clearly a staple for the "Beautiful" singer.

One wonders whether Christina might be a potential customer for Kim Kardashian's new merch: the SKIMS founder is now retailing body tape from her 2019-launched range. Still, Kim's merch won't prevent a dress falling open.

And Half Of Hollywood Joins Her

With millions in the bank, you'd expect Hollywood to find a dress that fits. The industry's famous faces seem to be having more wardrobe malfunctions than ever, though.

Earlier this year, former "Teen Mom OG" star (possibly lacking the millions) suffered a major wardrobe malfunction as she flashed her nether regions at the Venice Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Paris Fashion Week brought a chest-exposing wardrobe malfunction from model Kaia Gerber as she wore a sheer shirt.

Other notorious faces who've shown a little too much have included the likes of Tara Reid and Paris Hilton.

But #FreeTheNipple Is Moving Forward

Call them wardrobe malfunctions we might, but the forward-thinking might have a better term. Hollywood is freeing the nipple, one unofficial spokesperson at a time.

Giant fans of see-through shirts and #FreeTheNipple include model and "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kendall Jenner. Also up there are singer Miley Cyrus and Kendall's older sister Kim Kardashian.

Christina is known for her love of plunging necklines, but yesterday's video definitely took cleavage-flashing to a new level. Fortunately, this star can handle her awkward moments.
