Halsey Wants To Put Off Having Stomach Tattoos Until After Having Kids

In a recent interaction with fans on Twitter, Halsey disclosed that she is not getting any stomach tattoos until she is done having more kids. The 'Without Me' singer welcomed their first child with screenwriter Alev Aydin in July, 2021.

The four-time Billboard Music Award-winning artist announced her pregnancy in January 2021. At that time, the American singer was already three months pregnant. She kept fans up to date throughout her pregnancy via a series of photos she posted on Instagram. She also provided routine updates on her social media platforms.

The 26-year-old pop star and her boyfriend Alev Aydin announced the birth of their child, Ender Ridley, on July 14 on social media. The Instagram post featured a picture of Halsey holding the newborn baby with their producer boyfriend on their side and another one of the baby breastfeeding. It was captioned: “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.”

On October 7, the 'You and I' hit maker took to Twitter to answer questions from fans and share her experience as a new parent. One fan asked, “Got any tattoo plans now you’re not cooking a bb?” The American singer and songwriter responded: “I wanna tattoo my whole stomach, but I think I am going to wait until I’m ‘done having kids’ cause some of my existing belly area tattoos have already seen better days.”

Aside from being famous for her excellent music and beautiful voice, Halsey is also known for inking her body. The mother of one has more than 40 tattoos on her body, including a giant portrait of Marilyn Manson on her torso, a Queen of Diamonds playing card symbols on her temple, and the word “Baby” slightly above her bikini line.

The star also revealed that their Twitter timeline was full of fans asking about her breasts as fans kept commenting on her postpartum body.

In another tweet, the 'Eastside' singer answered questions about her boobs. However, she revealed that she wanted to talk about other things and not just her breasts.

The star admitted that being a mother has changed her life in so many ways. In one of her posts, Halsey said, “I feel guilty for working. I feel guilty when I’m not working.” She further explained, “I’m terrified I’ll always struggle to live up to my expectations. But I have also experienced love unlike any other and have finally learned how to ask for help and admit when I’m lonely or in need.”

Halsey has been open about her reproductive health primarily because she struggled with fertility because of endometriosis. The singer even released a song, 'More', in 2020 as a tribute to her future child.

The song is fourteenth on her third studio album called Manic. The singer documented how happy she was when she learned that she could have children in the album’s notes. It is no secret that the superstar will have more babies in the future and will hold off on having stomach tattoos until later.
