Netflix released the second trailer on September 17, 2021. Joe reveals that he is more scared when Henry cries. In the full-length trailer, Joe and Love engage in a killing activity where Love is seen hitting a person with a rolling pin and strikes another one with an ax. Joe is seen lifting a bow and arrow, and the couple buries a body while Henry giggles in a scooter.

In addition to the two trailers, Netflix uploaded photos to give fans a telltale of Joe and Love’s new life in Madre Linda. Love works at a bakery, while Joe is a stay-at-home dad. One of the images shows Joe on a staking errand while carrying Henry in a baby career.

What Does S3 Have In The Bag?

YOU season 3 is based on 'You Love Me,' written by Caroline Kepnes. It is the third book in the YOU novel series. According to the book’s synopsis: "Joe Goldberg is done with the cities. He’s done with the muck and the posers, done with Love. Now he’s saying hello to nature, to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. For the first time in a long time, he can just breathe. He gets a job at the local library—he does know a thing or two about books—and that’s where he meets her: Mary Kay DiMarco. Librarian."

"Joe won’t meddle, he will not obsess. He’ll win her the old-fashioned way...by providing a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand. Over time, they’ll both heal their wounds and begin their happily ever after in this sleepy town."

If the synopsis is anything to go by, YOU season 3 is expected to be thrilling like the first two seasons. Kepnes also hinted that she is working on a fourth book, implying that season 3 won’t be the last series.

New People Joining In?

Apart from the main characters Joe and Love, YOU season 3 will have a few new entries. According to Netflix, Shalita Grant will join the cast as Sherry, a mom-fluencer who invites Love to her inner circle. Travis Vaninkle will join the cast as Cary, a wealthy person who becomes Joe’s friend.
