Hilary Duff Gushes About Husband Matthew Koma After Trip To Pumpkin Patch

Hilary Duff loves her husband, Matthew Koma! That is quite evident in her latest Instagram post where she gushes on about him. They took their three kids to the pumpkin patch over the weekend and that seemed to prompt the actress into thanking him for all he does for their family.

In the series of six snapshots that were taken, you can see pumpkins everywhere as the family of five enjoyed their fall outing. Both Duff and Koma took turns carrying their youngest child, 6-month-old Mae James, around in her baby sling. Her face was hidden underneath a floppy blue hat.

The couple's older daughter, Banks Violet, 2, that they share together was decked out in a cute brown corduroy skirt and a printed top while also sporting pigtails. Duff's son, Luca, 9, that she shares with her ex Mike Comrie, got some snuggles from his famous mom while posing for a sweet snap.

The "Younger" star wore a white blouse and a wide-brimmed brown hat for their pumpkin fest. Banks had a similar hat that Duff indicated in a previous Instagram post she had purchased before her daughter was born. It was the little girl's first time wearing it.

In the super-sweet tribute to her husband, Duff revealed how much extra stuff that he has taken on since she started her new acting gig. She says that in addition to working fulltime, he takes care of their mornings by making breakfast, packing lunches, and making sure that the older kids get to school.

She finished it off by saying, "When the days seem impossible to get through , I’m glad to be trudging with you. Thanks for providing all the laughs along the way. And for being excited about my new show. You’re pretty dorky but I think I’m gunna keep you if you’ll have me."

Koma responded to his wife's message and it was classic! "Ugh I feel so guilty now for wanting to leave you and the kids at the pumpkin patch yesterday," he said.

Fans were excited when Duff made the announcement in April that her new gig would be starring as Sophie in "How I Met Your Father," the spin-off of the former CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother." The new show will be on Hulu this time around. As expected, it will center around Sophie spilling to her son all about meeting his father. Duff is also one of the producers, alongside original creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.

Her co-stars on the upcoming series totally surprised her by throwing a party for her 34th birthday in September. Can you believe "Lizzie McGuire" is 34 already? She received lots of love for her special day. It looks like they are all getting along famously and grateful to be bringing this new series to fans very soon.
