Kim Kardashian, Kanye West 'Kept Waving And Making Eyes At Each Other' During 'SNL' Debut

Kanye West showed his full-on support for Kim Kardashian during her Saturday Night Live hosting debut!

According to Page Six, the 44-year-old rapper sat front and center for the 40-year-old reality star's opening monologue on SNL. Sources revealed that the two "kept waving and making eyes at each other."

During the show, Kim proudly introduced herself as "Kim Kardashian West." Insiders shared that Kanye didn't watch the whole segment as he shortly left the audience after the opening monologue.

Another source who went to the show told the outlet that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star "blew a kiss" to her friends in the audience, including close pal La La Anthony and mom Kris Jenner's boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

Kim roasted her famous family in her monologue, including playful jabs at Caitlyn Jenner, her estranged husband, her infamous sex tape, and OJ Simpson.

During the opening, Kim told the audience that she's “so much more than just a pretty face — and good hair, and great makeup, and amazing boobs, and a perfect butt." She added, "I'm so much more than that reference photo my sisters showed their plastic surgeon."

Kim also referenced Kris' failed marriage with Bruce Jenner, who is now known as Caitlyn. "I'm a Kim — not a Karen … somehow [my mom] just knew. I don't know how she saw that coming -- and not Caitlyn."

The beauty mogul addressed her divorce from Kanye, where he called him "the best of all time," and stating that he's "the richest Black man in America, a talented legit genius who gave me four incredible kids."

She continued, "So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing -- his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there's one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine."

Sources revealed that the "Hurricane" rapper got up and went backstage after the monologue.

Kim and Kanye have been spending lots of time together again, supporting each other's careers. The divorcing pair was also seen dining in Los Angeles before flying together to New York for the NBC show.

In a report by the New York Post, the TV personality logged up-to-20-hour days in rehearsal for her high-profile sketch comedy debut. An insider confirmed to that outlet that call times for run-throughs start very early in the day, beginning at 5 or 6 a.m., and can last up to 3 a.m.

Aside from getting help from Kanye, reports also revealed that Kim reached out to Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, and James Corden for advice during her prep period.

After her Saturday gig, the SKIMS founder, clad in a skintight pink bodysuit and a matching fluffy coat, threw an intimate private afterparty at SoHo hotspot Zero Bond, as per the publication.

An insider revealed that Kanye skipped the star-studded party. Khloe Kardashian, Jonathan Cheban, Scott Disick, Gayle King attended the bash, along with Lorne Michaels and many more.
