Signing Jahki Howard was huge, but Donda Academy has more firepower on the way, for their basketball program. Other stars who are reportedly coming to the school are Robert Dillingham, Jalen Hooks, and Zion Cruz.

"It's just one of those things you can't pass up," Hooks said to the Indianapolis Star, regarding his commitment to Donda Academy. "It was more of a family decision, too. All of us just felt like it was a chance to reach my full potential and grow and get ready for the college level."

Kanye's 'Donda' Merchandise Has Also Had Massive Sales

This summer, Kanye West had three album listening events, for his 10th studio album, "Donda." Two were held at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where he was living in for quite some time. The final event was held in Chicago, Ye's hometown, inside Soldier Field. At these events, fans would rush to the merchandise tables, purchase "Donda" apparel, and relist these items online, for prices higher than retail value. This is due to these products being attached to Kanye's name, and how historic these Donda album listening events were.

Kanye Scored His 10th Consecutive Number One Album

With the "Donda" merchandise sales doing well, Kanye's Donda album as a whole was also highly successful. It went on to debut at number one, on the Billboard 200 chart. 27 songs were included, with huge collaborations with Jay Z, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, and more.

Donda was delayed three times, in the midst of the album listening events, but was finally made available, on August 29. The album held the number one spot for one week, before Kanye's rival, Drake, topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, with his "Certified Lover Boy" album.

Drake initially reignited his 2018 beef with Kanye, in August, after dissing Ye on Trippie Redd's "Betrayal" song. Kanye went on to include Drake in a group chat, where Ye said “I've been f----d with by weird-a** jock n****s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you."
