Mazur started her career from the American comedy movie, "Addams Family Values," where she played the role of a flirting woman. Later, she appeared as a Mod girl in the 1997 comedy movie, "Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery." In 1999, she played Becky Beaner in the action fantasy comedy "Mystery Men." She's an American actress who is well known for her movies and television series. She was born as Monet H. Mazur on April 17, 1976 in Los Angeles, California.

Monet Mazur was raised by her father, Ruby Mazur, who was known for illustrating the tongue logo for the Rolling Stones and her mother, Valerie Chasin, a model. She grew up with her three siblings, Matisse Mazur, Miro Mazur and Cezanne Mazur. They were all given first names that were the last names of famous artists.

Monet Mazur is of Jewish ancestry from her father's side. Her cousin is Epic Mazur of the band Crazy Town, in which she appeared in the music video of their song "Revolving Door" alongside Kimberly Stewart.

Before she began to act, Mazur forayed into the modelling industry but this didn't last for long. One of her most well-known ad campaigns are the three TV commercials for Gap she did with director Adam Daelay in 1999; "Everybody in Cords," "Everybody in Leather," and "Everybody in Vests."

Later that month, she gave birth to their son Marlon, while their second son, Luciano Cy De Rakoff followed six years later. However, on July 7 2018, the duo separated due to inexplicable reasons.

Rakoff is a British film writer and director. He's known for having written the 2004 sports comedy movie, "The Calcium Kid," and the 2009 crime film, "Dead Man Running."

Before Mazur met Rakoff, she was alleged to have been in four different relationships. She reportedly dated the famous actor Aston Kutcher in 1995. In 1996, she started another relationship with guitarist Dave Navarro and ended it after a year.

In 2001, she dated American actor and film producer Adrien Brody and months before she met Rakoff, she dated Jason Lewis.

Hobbies And Other Interests

Mazur is interested in music and is a member of the band Nancy Raygun. She is the cousin of Bret ‘Epic’ Mazur, who is the lead singer of Crazy Town.

She's also a fitness enthusiast and has been able to maintain her weight and looks by exercising on a daily basis, and following a strict diet.

Although very slim, Mazur has never had problems with anorexia but was frightened during her early years that it might happen to her one day.

She is a fashionista and goes shopping for clothes a couple of times each week.
