Ray J Files For Divorce From Princess Love While Hospitalized For Pneumonia

Singer Ray J has just filed for divorce from Princess Love -- again -- while he continues to recover in a hospital suffering from pneumonia.

According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Ray J filed for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County Court. Shockingly, the filing comes just hours after the singer announced he was in a Miami, Florida hospital suffering from pneumonia. 

If this sounds familiar, this is the THIRD time Ray J and his famous wife have attempted to divorce each other in the court system. As we reported, in May 2020, Princess Love filed to end the couple's marriage. But, a few months later the model had a change of heart and dropped the case. In September, Ray J pulled the trigger to legally end their relationship, and five months later she filed to dismiss the case. Get it? There's more...

So, for now, the couple is still married -- and Ray J hired top gun attorney Laura Wasser for his third time's a charm.

It's interesting timing, considering Ray J is reportedly in the hospital from what was initially believe to be COVID-19. The singer's manager revealed the singer believed he was going to die from the current illness. The 40-year-old says the experience was "frightening," adding, "I thought it was over. I started praying and knew God is good so I just kept praying."

Apparently, Ray J was given "five COVID tests, all of which came back negative" and was eventually moved out of the hospital's Coronavirus wing. The 'One Wish' singer says he is still having breathing issues and doctors are using oxygen to help him. Ray J's team is hoping he will be released later this week and is asking for fans to pray for him to recover so he can see his children.

Of course, no one mentioned the fact that Ray J is currently separated from his wife. The ex-couple shares two children, 3-year-old Melody, and 1-year-old Epik. It's unclear if the singer is asking for full custody of his children, but they appear to be in the care of their mother. He previously asked for joint custody.

At this point, it's unclear why the 'Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood' star continues to flip flop on his marriage. But, one thing is for certain, the couple keeps having to spend money on filing this case over and over again! Keep in mind, again, the filing doesn't officially make them divorced, it just begins the third case!

It's unclear what is the root cause of the most recent break-up.
