Billie Eilish To Headline The 2022 Glastonbury Festival

Billie Eilish has had yet a remarkable achievement and this time it comes in the form of her being the youngest-ever solo headliner of the Glastonbury festival going to be held in 2022.

For the past two years, the festival had seen successive cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Owing to the spirit of art and performances, there was a virtual Glastonbury festival this year that had in the bag performances by artists like Coldplay and Smile.

The Grammy-winning artist is known for gathering a mass fan base and encouraging people to speak up for what they think is right. “We are very excited to confirm that Billie Eilish will headline the Pyramid Stage on a Friday night at Glastonbury 2022, to become the youngest ever solo headliner.”, the festival announced on Twitter.

Billie, too, took to Instagram to share a post captioned “Glastonbury 2022”, finally confirming that she will indeed be the youngest headliner in the festival’s 51-year-old history.

Billie addressed the crowd at the Austin City Festival to revolt against the anti-abortion laws that are snatching away women’s health rights. "When they made that shit a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show because I wanted to punish this f--kin’ place for allowing that to happen here,” she said.
