Better yet, a RELEASE DATE (of sorts) has been announced!

As filming for the “Sex and the City” reboot kicks it up into high gear, more information and teasers to wet our whistles are being released.

The reboot currently titled, “And Just Like That…,” began production in July with the cast and crew going full steam ahead since.

Sadly, there were a few unfortunate events along the way.

Cattrall will not be reprising her role as the iconic Samantha Jones, Mr. Big, played by Christopher Noth, is rumored to only be a part of the beginning of the series and Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch, passed away last month after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Despite the many ups and downs the cast and crew have faced on and off screen, it appears the show hasn’t stopped filming.

On Tuesday, October 5, HBO Max’s official YouTube channel dropped a teaser trailer with behind-the-scenes footage.

The video starts out with SJP, aka Carrie Bradshaw, telling the camera, “It’s Sarah Jessica. Hello from New York City, Fifth Avenue. Shooting as we speak the next chapter of ‘Sex and the City,’ or sa we like to call it ‘And Just Like That…’ with some beloved friends.”

The video includes a montage of bts footage featuring Cynthia Nixon as ‘Miranda Hobbes’ and Kristin Davis as 'Charlotte York.'

“In the meantime, ‘And Just Like That’ will premiere in December on HBO Max,” SJP says signing off with ‘Ciao’ and an air kiss.

And just like that… we barely have ANY new information.

There’s no specific date in December the rebooted series will drop, and not much more has been released regarding the storyline.

SJP announced the highly anticipated reboot back in January in an Instagram post that was captioned, “I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now?”

The video showed multiple shots of New York’s busy streets, skyline and Carrie’s infamous laptop.

She types out the words, “And just like that … the story continues.”

In addition to ‘AJLT,’ SJP is keeping herself busy with a more sinister project. The actress is set to reprise her role as ‘Sarah Sanderson’ of the evil Sanderson sister clan for “Hocus Pocus 2.”

“Hocus Pocus” debuted over two decades ago in 1993. The dark, fantasy film followed the lives of three resurrected Salem witches obsessed about attaining immortality.

The major recipe for their cauldron of charms was the souls of children that wandered into their garden. Sarah Sanderson’s lullaby was particularly ironic as she lured unsuspecting kids to their demise.

There is still no official release date other than it will be dropping in Fall 2022 and it will be watchable on Disney+.
