Dr. Dre In More Legal Trouble Over Allegedly Fathering Child With Famous Mistress
By TheBlast Staff on October 5, 2021 at 12:30 PM EDT
Dr. Dre keeps finding himself in awkward situations. Mainly due to the fact that he’s allegedly got a wandering eye for the ladies. In this particular legal battle, Dre isn’t necessarily the main character or in trouble … as of right now. However, what’s being alleged in court in this particular case could come back to bite him sooner rather than later. Dre could ask for the money from his upcoming Super Bowl appearance in advance to make sure he has enough to cover all of his child support payments!
What’s The Issue?
Dre’s name popped up in a 2019 case where a former employee of alleged Dre mistress Kili Anderson, sued her tanning salon. Long story short, Anderson is actually defending herself in this case for wrongful termination using her relationship with Dr. Dre as a fireable offense. According to court documents obtained by Page Six. Anderson had her employees sign an NDA barring them from talking about their employer's relationship with Dre. This former employee though couldn’t keep quiet and always wanted to know more about Dre and her boss.
What Dre’s Said About His Relationship With Anderson
Dr. Dre has actually always denied that he had a relationship at all with Anderson. Let alone father a child with her. Rumors about a romance between the two, though, have been around since 2013. Recently uncovered court documents released by Page Six seem to indicate that in fact there is a child between the pair. In part of the documents that were recently uncovered it clearly states that the NDA that Anderson had her employees sign is real. Potentially the existence of the child is as well. The papers read,
“The owner of the tanning salon Kili Anderson, is said to have been in a relationship with the famous rapper Dr. Dre, with whom she had a child, and therefore she required all at will employees to sign a confidentiality agreement that they would not pry into her life and would keep all things that they learned about her life private.”
The Payments That Dr. Dre Has To Cover … So Far
There’s no question that Dr. Dre’s personal life has had its ups and downs. The downs have and are costing him quite a bit of cash. The rapper was recently ordered to pay 293,306 dollars in spousal support per month to his latest former wife Nicole Young. At the time, one of Dr. Dre’s oldest daughters came out and said that she was living out of her van. Saying that she hadn’t seen a penny from the star in years. She should’ve hired the same lawyers as Young!
Still Going To Work
In the midst of all of this controversy over his personal life, Dr. Dre is still getting ready to go to work on Super Bowl Sunday. The rapper is part of an all-star lineup that is set to include his prodigy Eminem, Snoop Dogg and others. There’s been no information released on what he’ll be set to make. Actually, most stars spend money to be in the Super Bowl. With The Weeknd reportedly putting up $7 million of his own money for his show last year. Dre said in a recent statement about the opportunity,
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,”
