Chris Brown is regarded by many, as one of the biggest artists, of this century. He's been established, ever since he was 15, in 2005, and has had countless hits. His legacy is complicated to many though, due to the 2009 domestic violence incident, with Rihanna. That situation, along with other legal woes that CB has gone through over the past decade, is still not getting passes, by critics.

Lizzo Told Brown That He's Her "Favorite Person" At Concert

Over the weekend, Chris Brown performed at "The Millennium Tour," as these concerts showcase some of the best throwback R&B stars. At one of the shows, Lizzo went viral, for her interaction with Brown, backstage. It was there that she called the legendary artist her "favorite person." Lizzo was obviously very excited to see Brown, as she asked him “Can I get a picture with you because you’re my favorite person in the whole f*cking world.”

Lizzo Catches Heat For Showing Brown Love

A lot of social media loved the interaction that Lizzo and Brown had, but for others, it wasn't received too kindly. On platforms such as Twitter, fans of Lizzo expressed how her approving of Brown like this, isn't a good look at all. These users cited his troublesome legal history, along with viewing Brown as a toxic person. Other Lizzo fans came to her defense, as they explained how this situation wasn't a big deal at all, and it was just a harmless display of love, towards another great artist.

Lizzo Released New Single With Cardi B

In August, Lizzo released a new single for the first time since 2019, with "Rumors," featuring Cardi B. This record went on to debut at number four, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Fans also expressed their admiration for the creativity in its music video, which was released the same night.

Lizzo Received Disgusting Hate Comments Online

Lizzo also sadly received disgusting fat-shaming and racist comments on social media, after this release, which, have since been getting tracked down, and deleted off of platforms, such as Facebook. She even went on to address the comments, in a video where she was seen holding back tears, as she explained how she was confused as to why she had to experience this negativity. Facebook is also implementing suspensions for users who post these vile comments about the singer.

Lizzo's last album was also released in 2019, with "Cuz I Luv You," as many hope that her fourth studio album will be on its way, sooner than later.
