Chris Brown is regarded by many, as one of the biggest artists, of this century. He's been established, ever since he was 15, in 2005, and has had countless hits. His legacy is complicated to many though, due to the 2009 domestic violence incident, with Rihanna. That situation, along with other legal woes that CB has gone through over the past decade, is still not getting passes, by critics.

Lizzo Catches Heat For Showing Brown Love
A lot of social media loved the interaction that Lizzo and Brown had, but for others, it wasn't received too kindly. On platforms such as Twitter, fans of Lizzo expressed how her approving of Brown like this, isn't a good look at all. These users cited his troublesome legal history, along with viewing Brown as a toxic person. Other Lizzo fans came to her defense, as they explained how this situation wasn't a big deal at all, and it was just a harmless display of love, towards another great artist.
Lizzo is, of course, not even close to the only major celebrity to express respect for (or in many and way more egregious cases work with) Chris Brown. But this is such a bizarre move against her brand that my mind is completely blown
