Shakira Fights Off Wild Boars To Get Her Purse Back In Barcelona

Shakira and her son Milan Pique thought that they were going to be able to go on a quiet stroll through a Barcelona park. That was until a couple of wild boars came along and reportedly harassed the singer and her son. Shakira shared the story to her Instagram followers on Wednesday where she even held up evidence of a torn hand bang.
Shakira claims that she was able to fight off the animal attack to get her purse back. However, the encounter was not without its consequences.
True Story?
Why would someone lie about being attacked by wild boars right? Well, there’s a part of the story that makes us think that the encounter wasn’t as scary as Shakira first wanted to make it out to be. As she’s telling the story to her IG followers her son Milan walks by. She urges him to essentially back up her side of the story. Something that he seems uninterested in doing. Maybe it wasn’t his first encounter with those wild boars.
A Ruined Hand Bang
As we mentioned Shakira held up the bag for the world to see on her IG video. She also revealed that things could’ve gotten way more serious if the boars were able to get away with her things. As she was carrying her phone and other important personal items within the bag. Although the bag was torn up the pigs at least didn’t eat her phone. She mentioned in the IG story,
“Two wild boars that attacked me in the park,” the singer said, in Spanish. “They were taking my bag to the woods with my phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything,”
Not The First Person To Deal With This Type of Issue

Incidents surrounding wild boars in different parts of the world have been on the rise! According to The Guardian in that particular region within Barcelona where Shakira was attacked the police once reported more than 100 calls surrounding boar incidents within one year. It’s not only that Catalonia region that has seen an uptick in wild boar attacks.
People in Rome have reported similar incidents. Folks in places like Hong Kong also have to be on the lookout for these animals. There’s a chance you can find some wild hogs at your local park soon with the way that they’re expanding.
Is Shakira Out Of Legal Trouble?

Wild boars are not the only thing that’s after Shakira in Spain. She's had to recently defend herself in court over a tax issue. Long story short, she did not pay the necessary amount in taxes to local authorities that she owed because she kept a permanent residence in Spain for an extended part of the year.
Even though her money was kept in Panama and other tax havens! With those issues though, what she’ll probably face is a massive fine. Most celebs who have had similar issues in Spain faced the same fate. Shakira should watch out for those wild boars, and rather stay inside and pay her taxes!
