The last suspect in the murder of rapper XXXTentacion was arrested on Tuesday evening and booked into jail on first-degree murder charges.
According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Trayvon Newsome turned himself at around 5:00 PM ET at his lawyer’s office in Fort Lauderdale.
Newsome is currently being held without bond. In addition to the murder charge, he was booked on a charge of robbery with a deadly weapon.
Dedrick Williams, Robert Allen, Michael Boatwright, and Newsome have all been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.
According to the indictment, Boatwright and Newsome were the two suspects who confronted XXXTentacion when he was shot and killed on June 18 in broad daylight.
Boatwright was arrested on July 5 for an unrelated drug charge, and was served with a warrant on July 10 for first-degree murder while in custody.
Allen was apprehended after a task force found him hiding out at his sister’s house in rural Georgia.
