XXXTentacion's ex-girlfriend, who he allegedly repeatedly abused, says the rapper's death has left her "broken."
Geneva Ayala took to social media Tuesday to address her complicated feelings about his death, tweeting "It’s disgusting that people are speaking for me. i don’t care if no one cared about me however many months ago, i didn’t lose my life. he did. it’s permanent. i’m still here. like how do you think that makes me feel? everyone expecting me to be relieved or happy?! no, i’m broken."
Ayala first reacted to the news Monday night, writing "I don't want to believe this. no one knows. the shit. I feel. for you" on Instagram and posting a screenshot showing she was listening to XXXTentacion's song "Alone Part 3."
As we previously reported, XXXTentacion was fatally shot late Monday afternoon and within one hour, a GoFundMe account Ayala started in late 2016 to raise funds for injuries he allegedly caused received over $1,000 in donations – it has since received an additional $6,000.
The rapper allegedly repeatedly abused Ayala over the course of their relationship and continued to do so after she found out she was pregnant – later that month, Onfroy was arrested and charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering.
