WWE Star Enzo Amore Fired Amid Sexual Assault Investigation (UPDATE)

UPDATE

1/23 11:45AM — The WWE has just “released” Enzo one day after announcing his suspension.  The sexual assault investigation is still ongoing.


WWE superstar Enzo Amore is being investigated by police for allegedly sexually assaulting an unnamed woman in a hotel room last year.

According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, the victim – who did not want to be named – was allegedly assaulted by Eric Arndt (A.K.A. Enzo Amore) in Phoenix back in October.

The woman shared her story on social media Monday writing, “OKAY..it’s been long enough & I have been so so scared to share this. I was raped in mid October by the WWE Enzo Amore (also known as Eric Arden) & Tyler Grosso & TOOPOOR let it happen as accomplices. I was in a mental hospital for 45 days after it. They ARE NOT good people.”

She shared a screen grab and went into graphic detail about the night of the alleged sexual assault:

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the investigation is still ongoing although police have completed the majority of it and are “just waiting on lab results.”

A rep for WWE told the outlet, “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”
