Wendy Williams is apologizing to fans who thought she may have been a little extra whacky on Thursday's show, blaming the behavior on a reaction to pain medication.

The host of the "The Wendy Williams Show," apologized Friday morning for those that thought her show was "less than stellar," and said she's still dealing with the pain from a hairline fracture on her upper arm.

Fans were quick to notice that the TV pro stumbled through her introduction of hip-hop group, The Lox, and appeared spacey throughout much of the show.

Williams has been hosting her show while keeping her arm in a sling, and admits the injury still "hurts like hell." She said, "I've never taken a pain medication in my life (except when I got snatched over 20 years ago) until this week."

She took the medication to "power through and try to deliver a great show," and admits it was against the better judgement of her team. Williams also noted her issues with Graves' Disease, which is an ongoing condition affecting her thyroid.

Regardless of her medical ailments, Williams stresses that she's "sorry again," and promises a "better Wendy in 2019," that begins with some rest and healing over the next couple of weeks.
