Zoë Kravitz talked about Channing Tatum during her interview for the March cover of Elle magazine.

The actress got candid about casting Tatum for her directorial debut, “Pussy Island.”

She said the “Step Up” actor was “brave enough” for the role.

According to Kravitz: “Looking at his work and hearing him speak about Magic Mike and the live show, I’m like, I think he’s a feminist.”

She continued: “You need to be so far from who this is, where it’s not scary. And I don’t think we’ve ever seen him play someone dark. I’m excited to see him do that.”

The beauty mogul added: “It might have taken us over a decade but I couldn’t be more proud of my glam team who always shows up for me. I love you guys!”

Kravitz and Tatum were seen hanging out together in NYC last summer.

When asked about their romantic relationship, Kravitz simply said: “I’m happy.”

Kravitz was previously married to actor Karl Glusman, while Tatum was with actress Jenna Dewan.
