Zoe Kravitz, daughter of the famed singer Lenny Kravitz, talks emotions, music and new beginnings.
Zoe married Karl Glusman in 2019, but their marriage ended when Zoe filed for divorce in December 2020, after 18 months of marriage.
During the divorce and throughout her new relationship with Channing Tatum she has refrained from commenting publicly.
In a recent interview with 'Another Magazine', she mentioned writing after her break up.
She didn't talk specifically about the the breakup, but she did say that she had poured out her emotions into her music.
“It’s personal. It’s about love and loss. I got married. I got divorced. Separations, break-ups are sad but are beautiful things too. It’s about the bittersweetness,”
She also mentioned she was excited about new beginnings following her divorce. It's possible she was referring to her boyfriend Channing Tatum.
She highlighted the fact that she’s now able to make better decisions than she when she was in her 20’s.
“Now I’m holding on to my thirties and I’m like, Can I just stay here, though? This is nice. It’s great making better decisions, knowing what works for you, knowing what feels good to you, knowing what real fun is, not just the idea of fun. We’re in a sweet spot.”
