Woody Allen took part in an Instagram Live interview with Alec Baldwin.
He revealed he plans to make one or two more movies.
One of the movies will be filmed in Paris either in late summer or early fall.
However, he noted that a lot of the “thrill is gone” when it comes to making movies.
He blamed it on the decline in theater attendance, which he said started before COVID.
He recalled how “people would come by the hundreds to watch it in big groups on a big screen.”
Now, he said that after four or six weeks, movies go straight to pay-per-view or streaming.
He noted, “People love sitting home with their big screens and watching it on their television sets.”
He also spoke at length about what he perceived as a decline in Broadway theaters too.
