A woman was found dead last week under mysterious circumstances.
On April 8, a judge allowed the woman’s lawsuit against a former cop to proceed.
Shandle Marie Riley, 42, was suing Daniel Wilkey for a 2019 traffic stop.
She claims that he sexually assaulted her at a traffic stop.
The court documents state that he allegedly “inappropriately touched her crotch.”
He also reportedly baptized her without her consent, saying God told him to do it.
The baptism was reportedly captured on a cell phone camera by another officer.
On April 13, Riley was found dead, but the cause of death has not been confirmed.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says, “The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.”
