Voice actor Peter Robbins has passed away.

The Carlsbad native was only 65 years old.

His family said he took his own life last week.

They are asking for privacy during this difficult time.

A memorial service will be announced at a future date.

He reprised his role in many Peanuts cartoons.

He even had a tattoo of Snoopy and Charlie Brown on his arm.
