Earlier this week, Elon Musk says his Twitter acquisition wasn’t a “done deal.”

However, it looks like the Twitter landscape is already prepping for his arrival.

Two Twitter executives just found themselves handed a pink slip.

Kayvon Beykpour, Twitter’s general manager, was on paternity leave when he got the news.

On Thursday, he tweeted that he was “leaving the company after over 7 years.”

He said that current Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal “wants to take the team in a different direction.”

Beykpour wanted to make it clear that leaving “wasn’t my decision.”

Bruce Falck, Twitter’s revenue product lead, was also let go by the company.

He posted several tweets thanking IC engineers for all their hard work.
