It appears Tristan Thompson is having a moment of fatherly clarity.
Over the weekend, the NBA player shared a photo of himself with his rarely seen son, Prince.
Tristan is coming off of a week-long vacation in Greece and St. Tropez.
He shared a very cryptic post about responsibility and independence.
His post read, “1. Nothing is promised to you. 2. No one owes you anything. 3. You have all the responsibility in your life.”
It continued, “Understand these three rules as early as possible and realize that independence is the way forward.”
Tristan’s post is inspirational and all, but it’s not enough to overshadow his lack of parenting to his third child, Theo, whom he had with his mistress, Maralee Nichols.
In case you didn’t know, the athlete fathered a child with a woman he chatted with on Snapchat.
Nichols is a fitness influencer and the two hooked up in March 2021 after his 30th birthday.
