“The Bourne Legacy” creator Tony Gilroy is making a splash in a galaxy far, far away.

After his work on 2016’s “Rogue One,” he is now hard at work on its prequel series, “Andor.”

The show will consist of 24 episodes, split into two seasons.

Gilroy told THR that he won’t be directing season 2 at all.

He said the job is “just too huge” but noted season 2 starts shooting in November.

he first three episodes of “Andor” were released on Disney+ last week.

He revealed he had written a “big manifesto” for Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy of what he wanted the show to look like.

He admitted his ideas were “wildly ambitious” and they initially passed on his ideas.

However, they later pursue his ideas, and fans are glad that they did!
