Tom Felton recently sat down with The Guardian to talk about his “Harry Potter” days.

Although he was loved by fans for playing Draco Malfoy, he “wasn’t cool” in school.

“It did me no favors with the girls,” Felton told the outlet.

He said that he wasn’t a “special, popular kid” in school.

He said he was “walking around with dyed hair and played an evil wizard.”

Felton felt that, despite being in a movie, it just “wasn’t cool.”

He also revealed that he had auditioned for both Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.

“I reckon I got the part because I was nonchalant,” Felton recalled.

“All I did was turn up as a snotty kid who looked right and I got the part,” he joked.
