Tom Brady has officially retired from football.

The announcement was reported by ESPN on Saturday.

Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington made the official announcement.

Brady is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in world history.

He played two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Before that, he played for the New England Patriots.

Previously, Brady had said he is in “no rush to figure out what’s next.”

“I’ll know when I know,” he added.

He did admit that he is looking forward to spending more time as a husband and father.
