Reality TV star Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie Chrisley are in the thick of legal troubles as the duo were indicted over bank fraud and tax evasion.

The couple were accused of defrauding $30million from different financial institutions for five years.

Since their conviction, the Chrisleys have since ramped up their legal team as they prepare to fight against the verdict.

In their latest podcast, Todd opened up about the legal, financial and emotional aftermath his family had been going through.

While they have received support from friends and fans alike, they've also received negative comments from critics.

Todd also shared that their 16-year-old Grayson, whom he calls the "sweetest child with the tender heart," has been mostly affected by comments made in the media.

Todd said he advised his son to protect his “tender heart.”

The longtime attorney of the Chrisleys, Steve Friedberg, shared with People magazine that they were devastated and disappointed at the verdict and will be pursuing an appeal.

"Chrisley Knows Best" hasn't been canceled yet and Per Deadline, the show's tenth season is still set to return on June 23.
