For the April 2022 cover issue of Good Housekeeping, Hoda Kotb got candid about her breast cancer and motherhood journey.

Following a mastectomy in 2007, Kotb tried to freeze her eggs.

The 57-year-old's ophthalmologist told her doing so was pretty close to a dead end.

The realization that she could not conceive brought Kotb to tears.

Things turned up for the broadcaster when she and ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman adopted two girls.

Kotb became a mom to Haley in 2017 and Hope in 2019.

While hosting the "Today" show earlier this year, the co-anchor announced her split from Schiffman.

Kotb said nothing wrong influenced their breakup, and they remain friends.

The former couple also remains dedicated to raising their two children.
